But seriously, it was lovely. I hugged a lot of people which is weird for me, I don’t hug. I got many promises of hanging out this summer, and while I know that won’t happen I still appreciate the thought. I really do love some members of my class. I will miss them. I got emotional. I really did.

What bothers me even more is that girls are on here posting about how they want a Christian Grey type character to come and talk dirty to them.
Just…what? Why? He’s such an ASSHOLE. I mean there’s slightly off-kilter and then there’s fucked the hell up. Christian Grey is in the second category. I would not want my daughter anywhere within a hundred miles of him. He’s in love with pain. He wants an ideal. For as smart as Ana is supposed be she’s kind of a dumbass. EDIT: Still cannot get over the fact that “Laters, baby” was a thing. A) Baby is a shit pet name. It’s patronizing and hecka lame. B) It sounds so outdated. If a guy said that to me I would punch him.
I’m tearing this book apart but then I’m going to read the other two… what does that say about me? I kind of have a little hope that maybe Ana will grow some brain cells and reappear as a strong female character. I also kind of want Christian to completely break down and admit he needs real help and try to not be his own special brand of psychotic.
